History of Blessings Within

Retreats began in the hearts of several who thought that they were just going away for a little campout on someone's property in the woods north of Houston, TX. This retreat was just one of those times you will always treasure as something deeply spiritual and changed many of us forever.  Many of those same women still meet several times a year to once again search for that quiet place within ourselves and can therefore come back to the everyday life we all lead with a renewed sense of faith in ourselves which some might call "getting the spirit back".

To any group there is always a core that keeps it going and even though that core changes from year to year the hope and the dream always remains to keep the tradition of getting away from the fast pace of life whenever they can to  just take that step outside of oneself to really see within.

Blessings Within began when two friends came together at a retreat planned by one of them.  Tina had the experience planning large events such as retreats however Andrea gave it an artistic direction that really made them evolve to be the transforming experience they are today. Of course it still takes a village of tireless volunteers working behind the scenes and our wonderful presenters which make the entire package come together.  Please feel free to take a look through some of past retreats.
